Create a subdomain on namecheap:

- The first step is to go to the namesheep control panel, choose the domain name, and then click on Advanced DNS.

When you want to add a new domain to Google Webmasters at first, it will give you two options, the first "domain" and the second "URL prefix", and many may be confused which option to choose.
- If you choose the domain option, then you have asked Google to archive all URLs under that domain (http or http, with www or without www) as well as sub-domains such as en.mydomain.com, so if you have chosen this option for the main domain you are not Need to add subdomain to webmaster tools.
- The second option, which is the best for Blogger, is that you copy and paste the address in the browser bar as it is, meaning if you choose to archive your site with https, the search engine will not archive http. In my personal opinion for blogger, if you are sure not to change the settings such as enabling https and redirecting without www, then this option is the best because it reduces the number of indexed addresses.
The rest of the settings such as the sitemap file and the robot file remain the same as the main domain.
What are the benefits of a sub-domain:
- The first thing that might prompt you to use a sub-domain instead of the default Blogger domain or buy a new domain is that most domain companies provide you with the possibility to obtain a number of sub-domains for free, and this is a feature that must be taken advantage of.
- Create a different language version of your blog. If your original blog is in Arabic, you can create an English version of it using the sub-domain instead of a blog with articles in different languages, which is unprofessional.
- Create a more specialized blog or what is known as a microniche. If you have a general technical blog, you can create another blog specialized in Android, for example, using the sub-domain.
- A new blog with a sub-domain will be faster in archiving than a blog with a new domain, especially if the original domain has a good autority. You can also speed up archiving by placing links to new blog topics in the original blog.
